Terribly service received - still with no resolve 2 months later

On 30 January 2025 I called in to migrate my 10gig data contract, to a My Home Internet Plan: 1T, 100mbs @ R549.00 for 24 months. Order was placed, received confirmation email with promise of delivery within 3-5 business days. Clear delivery instructions were given as to working hours for the delivery.

I cancelled my Fibre with Vodacom the same day (due to low quality and constant break in supply), in order to give Vodacom the 30day notice as requested - so that at the end of February my Fibre will come to an end and the new contract will be in effect. This was stipulated more than once while speaking with the agent - I need the new contract to be in effect before my Fibre ends.

I was contacted by RAM the following week, after 5pm, for delivery. Obviously the offices were closed by that time, and they refused to deliver to an alternate address - driver stipulating that they will call me the following morning to arrange follow up delivery - that never happened. I contacted RAM to find out why no follow up delivery was never scheduled, only to receive the reply that the order was returned to Vodacom and it's not their problem. I then had to contact Vodacom again to follow up - only to be told that my order was cancelled - no communication from Vodacom. Vodacom then wanted me to place a new order, at a higher rate as the contract I signed up for is no longer available - which I refused as this was not an error on my side, so why must I be held liable and pay more? Ok, they will take it up with the "managers" to see if I can still get the same contract, they will phone me back. 2 days later and still no call, I once again phoned them to follow up having to explain myself all over again as I was speaking with someone else - met with the same response, they will escalate and consult the managers and revert back to me. Again, no response from them and again I had to phone them to follow up - speak to a new agent and repeat the same story all over again to be met with the same answer.

By the end of February, I am still fighting the same battle - my fibre comes to an end, with no new contract in effect. My home is now left without internet, in household of 6 people, kids in school doing projects and needing to do research and homework.

Not once was I contacted by any after sales agent to find out why and how we can resolve this - I had to phone them again and again and again - you can check call logs (if you even keep them).

10 March 2025 - bought Data for my home at the price of R349.00 Which is why I wanted everything sorted and in place by the end of February - as specifically asked and stipulated on 22 January 2025.

By 20 March 2025, since no resolve was reached, I once again contacted Vodacom and placed a new order: Now for My Home Internet Plan: 1T, 100mbs @ R698.99.00 for 36 months (so now more expensive and longer duration contract - the additional fees and year will cost me R11987.64 minimum, more - at no fault of mine but I am the one that needs to pay? Very unfair and bad service from Vodacom). New order placed with the promise of delivery within 3-5 business days (26-28 March).

25 March 2025 - bought Data for my home at the price of R349.00 Which is why I wanted everything sorted and in place by the end of February - as specifically asked and stipulated on 22 January 2025.

By Friday 28 March when there was no delivery, I had to phone Vodacom once again to be told oh sorry, this week Vodacom was doing stock take and no deliveries were sent out. You might receive it in the next - might??? And my household is once again out of data - and by this time I do not have money to purchase more.

To date, 1 April 2025, I have spent R698.00 additional on data for my home which was never supposed to have happened in the first place, and I am still waiting for Vodacom to deliver my new deal at the R11987.64 more then when all of this started 20 January 2025.

I would love to receive a reply to this and hoping for a better resolve to this whole issue where I, as the customer, am not the only one footing the bill for this lack of service from Vodacom - I mean, why am i the only one being punished (with thousands of rands) when I am the only party not at fault here.
