Terrible Service! Divan Cloete and Elisabeth Septoe
I received a Huawei p9 from Vodacom at the end April 2017. The phone malfunctioned and damaged two of my 64gb microsd cards. I called Vodacom, they advised me to take it to Huawei. I called Huawei and after much hassle, the phone wad collected on the 28th July 2017.
Huawei's backup service was pathetic (but that's an issue for another time!).
Eventually after more than two months, the phone was repaired and returned to me. I requested a tech report, which indicated that the micro sd controller had failed and that the motherboard needed to be replaced.
I relayed this information to Vodacom, since the brand new device they supp**** to me *******ed my memory cards. I've been liaising with Divan from Vodacom, and over a months worth of back and forth, got me no closer to Vodacom replacing the memory cards. According to the consumer protection act, their device malfunctioned and damaged my memory cards, hence they should replace it.
After Divan could not assist any further, I was referred to Elisabeth Septoe- his manager. She promised to call me back last week Monday (2 October 2017)- she had not called me back as yet. I've tried emailing numerous times since then - no response from Divan or Elisabeth. I've tried calling on the number I used to reach them previously, but they do not answer my calls.
Really, Vodacom, is this how you treat customers who've been with you for almost twenty years? I don't want a credit to my account- replace my memory cards! I am not concerned with your internal politics of customer service department vs repair center (and who is responsible)... one of you needs to step up and instruct a store to provide me with the replacement of my two cards.
