TERRIBLE SERVICE @VODACOM VINCENT MALL
My dad had such a bad experience at @Vodacom at Vincent Mall in East London this morning.
He stays in Mthatha, EC and the closest store is the one in East London, which is about 240km away. He had left his tablet there a couple weeks ago to go in for repairs. He then received an sms stating that it was ready for collection.
Today he went to collect and was told that his tablet hadn’t even gone in for repairs, in fact his tablet is still sitting in store. The worst part is the consultant who was assisting him responded with attitude by saying “so ufuna senze ntoni ke ngok?”-what do you want us to do?
“Ufuna siyi**** or ufuna ukuhamba nayo?” -Do you want us to take it in for repairs or not? No apology or explanation was given with regards to the sms he received. She acted like it wasn’t her problem so she wasn’t even going to entertain it!
He asked for the manager and the manager said that it was a system error and directed him back to the rude consultant who assisted him in the first place.
The very rude consultant (Amanda Mtutu) then continued to book the tablet in for repairs. My dad was so frustrated and still is because 1) it’s been weeks now without his tablet, 2) he drove all the way from Mthatha to collect the tablet because of this sms he received.
“Vodacom Repairs job no. ***7 is ready for collection at VODACOM REPAIRS EAST LONDON ***0. Please bring along your ID/Drivers licence for verification” So Vodacom how does one deal with this matter as the store manager wasn’t helpful?
