Terrible service and repairs
I got a Samsung A5 on a contract from Vodacom, But before it was a year old it broke after a software update. The speaker just made a noise and the phone kept restarting. I took it to vodacom mid December 2017. I was told that it needed to be sent in for repairs, and that they could not give me a loan phone because they did not let people borrow phones anymore. My phone was returned to me in January, but it continued to restart. I told the attendant that I needed a phone because my kids will be going back to school and I needed to be reachable. I was told to return on the Saturday when there loan phone will be back. I returned on the Saturday 13 January only to have my phone sent in again. Upon receiving my phone back for the second time it continued to restart of its own accord. I returned the phone for the third time and insisted that it be replaced, I was told that it would be replaced, but it needed to be sent in first. The same phone was returned to me for the third time after being "fixed". I was told that the motherboard had been replaced, but before I had even left the mall it had begun to restart. I returned the phone for the fourth time and told them that I would not accept the same phone back again, that I now wanted it replaced. I went in a week ago to check on the status of my phone, not being happy with the response I asked a friend to go in and see if he could get a response. He was told that the phone was missing and if not found that it would be replaced in 48 hours. I went in a few days later to find out if my phone had been found, I was told that it was never lost and was on its way back. the next day I received a message saying that it was back. I went in today to and was told that the phone had been repaired yet again and not replaced.
I am beyond furious with the service at Vodacom and will now take this matter to IACSA if it is not resolved. Not only has the phone not been repaired, but I have been **** to constantly and blatantly 13 March 2018
