Terrible Service

In October 2019 I took out a contract for Huawei Y9 2019. within a few days Vodacom attempted a debit order and it bounced, I called them to resubmit the debit order and they didn't. =/- 6 months later I'm still not being debited and as a result my account went into arrears which i was then handed off to a collections company, I then made an arrangement to pay R600pm, this payment was done via eft because vodacom still wouldn't me, no matter how many times I asked them to. fast forward to that, I was in arrears and handed off again, i then requested the agent i spoke to for a settlement and cancellation qoute, that request was not honored, i proceeded to pay my arrears. September 2021 was when my contract was to come to an end, so I called and they told me I was on a 36 month contract, i was fuming but then i decided I'll pay. might i add that all this time I am not using the sim card therefore I am paying for minutes and data for nothing. Anyway in May 2022 i pay and amount of R3500. now in September I owe R1788, as far as i know my contract ends in October, I call customer service and they have the audacity to tell me my contract ends in March 2022. I went to twitter to see if i could get assistance. They tell me my contract was suspended for 16 months???? without my consent? without ever being informed? Vodacom has abused me for waayy too long, I am livid. I want that damn contract cancelled effective immediately. I will pay arrears of the device fee only because i have not used that sim card for a very long time.... Vodacom is the worst!!!!!! a 24 month contract was extended to a 36 month contract to now an 41 month contract without anyone ever getting my consent? without communication? its now happening
