Terrible Service

Last year September 2016, I was called by a sales person from Vodacom offering that i switch to a better package with an added benefit of 100MB and my normal airtime R101 @ R249.00. I agreed and asked her to confirm the premium again and she did.

The end of that month, the upgraded my package but the debited R283, i was shocked becuase I didnt agree to that premium. I called and requested that the check my billing which they and it seems that the sales person didn’t disclose other charges. I requested that I cant afford to pay that premium better I go back to my old package. The Customer care consultant told me there is usually a fee for moving back to an old package but because I was no properly sold to they will not charge me that migration fee of R700.

Two month went and they kept debiting the high premium of R283, I told myself that maybe they will sort it out quicker, on the 28 of December the debited R964, which shocked me…cause that mean that they ended up charging me the migration fee after I was assured that they won’t charge me. I called immediately and the consultant advised that I go reverse the debit while the log the complaint. Few hours later the debit was returned because I only had R924 in my account.

I followed up with my query on the 10 January 2017, they advised that they will escalate it. Few days later I called again to follow up; because I started getting smses that I will get disconnected. On the 26 January I got disconnected, I called in and request an update on my complaint, they told me it’s still being assessed and until the R1300 premium is paid my phone will still be disconnected.

I made arrangements with them that I will pay my December and January premium (R510) while they sort out the migration fee out, They advised that I can reverse the R1 300 if it goes off as it was too late to cancel the debit order with them, which I did on the 28 January 2017.

My phone got connected again after an hour, now today (02/02/2017) with No warning, No sms, No update on my query, they decided to disconnected my phone again.

Can they please listen to the audio recording of the 1st sales pitch that was made to me and got us into this mess and the 2nd one that I was assured that I won’t be charged a migration fee.

Please HELP.

Natasha
