Terrible management and service from Centurion Lake Vodashop in Centurion Mall

After about 6 months on a Smart S+ contract with Vodacom, my sim card was locked. I later found out that the contract has been cancelled without any warning nor approval from my side. At first, I thought that there is something wrong with the debit order. I confirmed that I have made monthly payments per the invoices I received from them. I proceeded to the Vodacom Centurion Lake shop for an explaination. I was told that it was a problem on Vodacom's side which they will correct - the consultant who assisted me when I took the contract made a mistake with loading the details onto the system.

Later the month the number was blocked once again without warning. I spoke to Kostandinos Tozios at the Centurion Lake Vodacom shop. He told me that the sim card was soft blocked due to another problem on Vodacom's side. For the next month or so I called them daily and frequently more than 2 times a day to unblock the sim. I was also in the Centurion Lake shop more than once only to waste on average 2 hours waiting in a queue for assistance.

When that problem was finally sorted out I was surprised by a bill twice as much as the value of the original agreement. I proceeded to contact the Vodacom shop (Centurion Lake) again without any help. After threats to involve lawyers I finally got the store manager (Lizanne Bond) to have a look at the problem. She was only helpful to ensure that I did not receive another rediculous invoice the next month. I thought my problems with Vodacom and especially the Centurion Lake Vodashop ended. To my disappointment, I received yet again another invoice which was 10% higher than the agreed amount as per the contract.

I contacted Lizanne Bond once again to ask why there is another problem. After a month I have not received any feedback from her nor any Vodacom personnel. Since that complaint, I have had another invoice which was also 10% higher than the agreed upon price. I understand that Vodacom had to increase their prices to accommodate for the new VAT increase announced by new president Cyril Ramaphosa, however, the VAT increase was only 1% whereas the increase on my invoice was 10%. Why is there an addition 9% increase? I will attempt to seek assistance at another Vodacom shop as the Centurion Lake Vodashop are absolutely useless. Lizanne is a terrible branch manager which is totally unwilling to assist with problems caused by her personnel. I would highly advise against taking out a contract with Vodacom. They are unreliable when it comes to billing and they provide a terrible service. I will not take out another Vodacom contract and I will never go to the Centurion Lake Vodashop again. I have already started moving my business to CellC as the service is so much better. In the near future, my company will also start moving their contracts from Vodacom to CellC.
