Terrible , Distasteful service

I went to a Vodacom store in Jabulani mall to do a sim swap and possibly activate the SIM card as I had lost my SIM card , I had a contract with Vodacom from January however haven’t used the SIM card not even once as I’m a permanent Telkom user . The only and one day I decide to give Vodacom a try I received the most distasteful service from Fortunate at the store , she tried giving me petty excuses and told me I need to call the call center she couldn’t help , I failed to understand how when I had my ID at her disposal and had confirmed all my correct details as per the security measurements , she ended up assisting however the service was not pleasant and this is definitely not the value for money I pay towards . The following morning (29/05/2019) I called the call center and spoke to Lerato Tshimong who sounded like she hates her job , I’m not sure what Vodacom does to its employees but these people are totally unhappy , she asked me a bunch of questions which some I didn’t have answers to “which package are you on” I mean , I’ve had the contract for 6 months now I’ve never used this number even once please ask security questions that are more relatable , I told her to please move to the next question and she couldn’t wait to tell me she can’t help . I asked to speak to someone else and as I was still talking she cut me off and placed me on hold , played the music , put me on mute for about 15mins before resuming to play the music again , in the interim I had to use my own Telkom airtime and call Vodacom on the other side for someone else to help me , spoke to Lungile who efficiently put me to her manager Mpho who helped with urgency and advised on the necessary steps to turn around times for my query to be sorted , that call did not take longer than 10minutes yet on the other side I was still on hold for over 20 minutes till I spoke to a Lydia Khopu who wasn’t much of great help either . I’m sending this long email to express my frustration with the level of service from a first time contact person , I am not too sure if I wanna continue any business with Vodacom for future references , the employees are rude , no urgency , paint a bad picture about the company . Please get more energized people who actually know what SERVICE is . A month later , I call the call center and I’m advised my SIM swap was cancelled . Please explain what’s going on
