Terrible customer service from Vodacom

To say I am disappointed with Vodacom, Nonesi Mall in Queenstown, is an understatement. On the 1st of June 2021 I received a contract phone from them. In the process of setting the phone up, I set a passcode which I explicitly remember until this day. During the process, I locked the phone and tried to unlock it shortly after that. When I punched in the passcode, which I am a hundred percent sure of, the phone did no want to accept the passcode. The next day I returned the phone to Vodacom, and was told the phone would be sent to Umthatha. I made frequent visits to the store and was then told that the phone went to Johannesburg. The communication has been awful, the worst being the fact that I only met the manager yesterday after going in and out the store for so long. My main concern now is that I want to cancel the contract and they will not allow me to do so. They claim it is my fault that I entered the incorrect passcode. I honestly don't know what's worse, them throwing this whole thing right back at my face, their awful and dragging communication or the fact that they do not want to cancel my contract. I want to cancel the contract, I do not want that phone, or any other device from Vodacom anymore. Vodacom is bad and the Queenstown branch has the worst employees. Do better, Vodacom.
