Terrible customer service and extensive length for feedback

I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with the service I have been given by Vodacom. I had done a port from MTN to Vodacom on the 25th August 2016, and till 02 September 2016 I was unable to receive calls from Vodacom numbers, as well as unable to send and receive any SMS’s. This was very troublesome and inconvenient, as my work revolves around people contacting me. This had hindered my business to a point of where I was losing business and money because clients are unable to contact me.

I had laid numerous complaints on the Vodacom 111 customer care line, but had no satisfaction. Many of the agents have ‘promised’ to call me back, but none have actually done so. The store manager in Newcastle, where I had done the port, had been the only individual in Vodacom who was very helpful and had also been trying to resolve this issue for me.

This is unacceptable customer service, as I am sure you agree. Vodacom is an international company, and as a customer, I had expected a higher level of professionalism and assistance, as well as more satisfaction from Vodacom.

Furthermore, with ALL the inconvenience caused by this matter, I trusted Vodacom would reimburse me with some sort of consolation, perhaps a Samsung VR Headset, for the inconvenience of being left literally unreachable for 8 days to date by fellow Vodacom subscribers. I beleive that Vodacom feels that recompensation is not neccessary, as long as they will continue receiving their monthly contract subscriptions.

I trust the right people in Vodacom read this review, and rectify the customer service of this entity.

****r Goga

**********

Good day,
Yet again, Vodacom has managed to let me down and dissapoint. I had received a call from Vodacom offering me compensation for the initial inconvinience caused, and understanderably, my request needed to be approved. I was informed via SMS on 07 September 2016 that the item i requested was declined, which i unhappily accepted, and the sms sent to me had no contact details for the consultant that was assisting me.
I have been calling since that date to get some feedback as to what will be done for me, but i get NO answers to my request. It is as if i am speaking to a wall!
Please, Vodacom, do enlighten me on how I can get Vodacoms management to contact me to resolve this, as I have really had enough BS upto this point. To me it seems that Vodacom cannot be bothered with their customer service, and according to Vodacom I must just accept that they will do NOTHING to compensate for the initial problem, and furthermore for the time and money i am currently wasting and losing in contacting them and making these stupid unnecessary calls.
I will NOT ACCEPT no compensation for inconviniencing my life, be it 1 day or 10 days! I truly hope i get some satisfaction now.
I await a call from Vodacoms Management.
