Terrible Customer Service.

On Monday 13th March 2017, I noticed that I couldn't check my balances on the My Vodacom App so I treid to check by dailing *111*500# and that wasn't working either. I phoned Vodacom using my work phone number, and I answered every question I was asked in order to VERIFY my account. The Vodacom representative told me that this was a problem shared by all Vodacom customers using an open line. I was then told that my issue would be escalated to a technician and that I would receive a response after 48 hours.

On Wednesday 15th March 2017 (48 hours later), my issue still had not been resolved. When I phoned Vodacom, I was told that because I did not phone from my cell phone the call to the technician was not logged and that I would now have to wait another 48 hours.

Do Vodacom actually give training to their customer support staff? How is it that these people are so inept? Why is it that Vodacom won't afford me any assistance until I complain on Hello Peter?

I'm so sick and tired of Vodacom. The only reason I'm still a Vodacom customer is because MTN and Cell C are much, much worse.
