Terrible Customer and Repair Service

I write this review now after more than a month struggle to get my celphone replaired/replaced after an over heating problem started early October.

I upgraded to a Galaxy S7 which I barely used until I got back from a mining project late September. Two weeks after my return the issues started with my phone over heating etc.

I proceeded to Vodacom repairs and submitted my phone undamaged and corrected comments of scratches on the documentation after proving there was no damage to the phone.

A week later I was notified that my phone was readyfor collection only to find out they just did a software update. I resubmitted my phone again explaining that there must be a battery issue that a software update won't fix.

I again confirmed with a Lady by the name of Kate that the comment "Fine Screen" means my screen is okay and no scratches are present. She confirmed that is what the comment means thus I signed and submitted my phone again.

A week and a half after that around the 15th of October I was notified that my phone is repaired and ready for collection.

On arrival they explained everything that they replaced and wanted me to sign the Job Card, but on inspection of the device I noticed scratches on the screen, Kate then told me the comment "Fine Screen" means there are scratches on my screen yet she previously told me different.

I refused to take my phone as it has been damaged by the repair and immediatly phoned customer care to lodge a complaint.

Ever since I have phone Vodacom 3 times and spoke to a total of 5 consultants to try and find out what is the progress of my complaint and why do I not receive any feedback or updates with this regard.

Friday was the last time I phone and I was assured I would be contacted on Monday the 7th of November by Vodacom HQ to give me feedback and explain why all of a sudden my phone is in for repairs now for the third time without my knowledge.

This has now been going on for more than a month and I'm paying for a device I cannot use because of faulty manufacturing and bad customer and repair service from Vodacom.

I hope using this channel will help me get my device back in the condition I submitted it or replaced as I am paying for a phone I am curently unable to use.

So it has been a week and I only received 2 e-mail after this comment. the first stating that it has been escalated to Vodacare Head Office with a reference number.
The Second stating that they have given me feedback. I responded to this e-mail confirming that I have not received any feedback from Vodacare and today I again e-mail asking again what feedback I was given and if I may receive feedback.
