Terible service from Vodacom

I have booked in my phone with the Vodacom repair Centre in Menlyn on the 09th May 2017, the job nr. ********** 3.

* It was explained to the consultant that the phone switches off when it is not on the charger. Some days if it is on, it switch off and then tries to reboot sometimes 5 times in a row.

* Sometimes the screen goes blank, one can see it is on, but nothing displays on the screen.

I can't confirm whether the consultant that assisted captured all the information.

* On the 11th May 2017 we received an sms saying that the phone has been send to the manufacturer.

* On the 16th May the phone was send back to Vodacom Repairs Menlyn

* On the 17th May we received a message that the phone is ready for collection

* The job card indicated that the main board was replaced and a software update was done.

We collected the phone, I charged the phone overnight and I took it to work with me on the Thursday to see whether it was repaired.

To my disappointment, the phone was on for about 3 hours, then it switched off. I tried to switch it on again, only on my 4th attempt I managed to switch it on.

I kept it on the whole day, the afternoon on my way home, it started rebooting again. I switched off completely.

The phone was taken back to Vodacom Repairs Menlyn on the 19th May 2017, job nr. ********** 0, explained to the consultant that the phone is not repaired in that it is doing exactly the same thing. At that point and time already I told the consultant that I don't want this phone anymore but I chose to exercise patients and see if we would get a different result.

* On the 23rd May 2017 we received a message that the phone has been taken to Advance Repair Centre.

* On the 24th May we received a message that the phone has been taken to the manufacturer

* On the 29th May we received a message that the phoned was booked in at Vodacom Repairs Menlyn

* On the 30th May we received a message that phone was ready for collection.

The phone was collected on the 30th May 2017. The same evening of the 30th May I put the phone on charge, I left it to chare overnight.

The next morning, 31st May, I tried to switch the phone, it only showed Microsoft logo and switched off. I tried it twice with no success.

I have asked for feedback on my complain, up to today, I'm still awaiting an explanation why my phone could not be fixed.

I would not recommend Vodacom to anybody.
