Telesales misusing high data prices to sell Vodacom products

Good day

I am a happy Vodacom customer, but this morning at 9:48 I received a call from ********** 310. The aim of the call was to sell me a 5GB 24 month contract. The lady starts by telling me that Vodacom customers have been complaining about the high data prices. I asked her that if that is the case why do Vodacom as a company do not lower the prices. She went on to exploit the "high price of data" in order to sell me a 24 month 5GB plan after I told her I have fiber access at home. After I told her that selling me another standalone product does not bring down my monthly spent, she just dropped the line. This is very unprofessional. If "Vodacom" really cared about my account this lady would have politely ended the call. I know this is not Vodacom as a company who phoned me but a reseller of Vodacom products, however it is this reseller that continues to misuse a current issue just to sell products. I am more unhappy with the sales agent’s lack of professionalism than the cheap sales tactic.
