Telephonic Upgrade

On 24 February a lady called Nikesh (from a Vodacom approved dealer) phoned me to upgrade my data bundles from 500MB to 2GB at a special rate. At first I said yes, but when she rattled off the terms and conditions I said to her that I am no longer interested. She went off at me for wasting her time. I then said I am not going to listen to her, said goodbye and put the phone down. She phoned back a second time to sream at me for wasting her time.
Now, two and a half weeks later, I want to take out another phone on my contract for my son. Apparently this dealer left an open application on my account, and not one of the Vodacom numbers I phone can help me to remove it. About 20 calls later to ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, ***4 and they all give me the same story: \We are not allowed to remove the application, only the dealer who opened the application is allowed to do so.\"
I am shocked that a company as big as Vodacom can allow some small time dealer to put a hold on your account and nobody can remove it.
Definitely moving to another service provider."
