Tarrif increase

Received a sms on a tarrif increase on 1 April 2022 . Why did I sign a contract for 24 months subscription if it is a totally one sided benefit? The reason for signing a contract is to minimize extra cost and to budget for a fixed billing period.

But according to the call centre clause 44 "vodacom reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and were such change is", gives Vodacom the right to do as they please. It is like signing a blank cheque and I must just carry the consequences. Not signing a contract again and it might not be much but we are going to cancel all 6 our contracts as soon as the periods end.
