Taking money wrongfully is ***** in my books

I wish I didn't have to write this on hellopeter, but my conscience got the better of me. Secretly I'm hoping that this lands on Gary Hagel's desk as I feel quite strongly about it. Here's why:

First read http://hellopeter.com/vodacom/complaints/customer-care-unreachable-*** That's the starting point.

Briefly
- No one contacted me from Vodacom
- I ensured that from the 1st of March my mobile data was turned off and I didn't make any outgoing calls
- On 4 March, I called *** and after another lengthly wait (***) was informed that a record of my call on 19 Jan exists, but the agent failed to process the 'command'. Again I was promised to be contacted within 24 hrs. I followed up with an email to cust care.
- Some time between my call and 5 March my termination was effected. (I was not contacted)
- Today, I received a bill (pro-rata) of R80.29 for the 21.9 % of the month in which I 'used' my phone (how they come to this is a mystery)

So I'm footing the bill for your incompetence despite taking precautionary measures to limit my liability.

Its not a significant amount, but in my books, taking money wrongfully is *****. Even in small amounts.

Disgusted
