Taking customers from pillar to post and debiting their accounts *******ly

I have a data and cell phone contract with Vodacom. Last month I was charged a hefty amount for data usage which I still can't understand. They usually send me notifications of my data usage on my main number; on the said month I did not receive any of those alerts on my 072 number (main number). I reported it to them and they said they would investigate and I would get my answer by Tuseday the folllowing week (which didn't happen). They called long after telling me that they would credit my account with R1300-and-something.

I find that on Sa****ay, 28 May 2016 they debited R607, 14 from my account when my monthly charge is normally R477,50. I tried to enquire why they did that and I was taken from pillar to post. I was on hold for 40 minutes with everybody transfering me to this department and that, and all their systems failing as soon as I tell them my cell phone number. The only thing I got from this exercise was that my account was *******ly debited on 22 May 2016 (which is not the agreement because I am paid towards month end) and that I was charged R100 extra for their negligence. When I tried to tell them that I have been holding for long and that I have been transferred from this person to the next, they simply ignored me and continued with passing on my call like one would pass the buck.

I am very dissapointed in the way Vodacom has conducted itself in this whole matter. We have had a great relationship over the years and now it is *****ed because of the lack of professionalism of Vodacom staff, and the lack of regard that they have for their customers.
