Tablet through Elite Mobile Activation Vodacom - Customer care non-existent

On 16 November 2016, I received a telemarketing call from a very polite consultant, making an offer of a tablet with 2gb data for R129.00 as after thought she mentoined that there is also 1gb of hotspot data which I can use, but never mentioned the cost of the 1gb. I received my package on 23 November 2016 and dial Vodacom to activate the sim. On 25 November the sim wasn't activated and I call again. The lady mentioned something that the activation is on a new system and she can not see the progress, but said she will phone me on Saturday the 26th to inform me of the progress. Needless to say I never received a phone call. Monday 28 November and the sim was still not activated, I phone in and cancelled the deal, I was told that the courier would come to pick up the parcel. Nobody contact me yet for collection, but this morning as I was checking my bankstatement the debit order went through. I dial in and was told that once they received the tablet back the money would be paid back. The pickup of the tablet will take up to 14 days and there after another 21days for the refund. I sure have a issue with this, because for you as the customer there is penalties if you pay late or the debit order did not go through. But the company can decide how long they will wait to refund you wihtout any penalties on their side.
