Tablet damaged in store/transit,not fixed
I have a tablet on contract with Vodacom since end September 2014. I took it to the Customer Walk In on 18 April 2015 as the unit was not charging. Nowhere on the form were any damages noted and I also never signed for any damages to the unit. I received a text message about 3 days later from Vodacom stating that the unit would be replaced. Then a few days later another text that I had to pay repairs of R1298.00? I tried phoning and lodging complaints, but never received any feedback or call backs from anybody. 2 and half months later I eventually just fetched the tablet as Vodacom still hadn't repaired it and I have been paying for something I do not have the use of. When I handed the unit in there were no damages, but now the screen is scratched and there is also a chip out of it in the one corner and on the side. The people at the store just keep telling me there is nothing they can do about it as head office refuses to repair/replace the unit due to scuff marks of some sort. You are my last resort to get this resolved as I am on the verge of cancelling all 4 my contracts with Vodacom and will definitely be using social media to name and shame Vodacom!
