System to update is offline for a month

Hi. which company goes offline for a month. I am trying to update my contacts onto my new phone from the Vodacom contact apps which I use to Synchronise my numbers to. I called the customer care line and was told that the server is down and will be like that for a month. really is this possible. all I want are my contact on my phone. <br> <br> please can I get a response with urgancy
