System tells you you're approved for a contract when you're not

This is more of a SUGGESTION than a complaint. I'll start up with saying the man I spoke with in the sales department, thank you, we're very helpful, I forgot your name because I was so blind with anger at the situation.

Please, for the love of peace Vodacom, fix your damn online application system. If I get an email saying "APPROVED" I want my damn device and contract. Please do not force me, your customer, to have to phone after the fact to find out that there are "conditions" and my approval isn't really approved. It is unacceptably sloppy on your behalf. Next time I get an email saying that my application vetting process was a success I expect to received the device I was "approved" for, not some excuse about my portfolio because your system is not working as it should.

Give the man that explained this to me a raise, because I swear if he hadn't talked me down I would've just cancelled my contract with you there and then.

I expect better from the company that I've been with for over 6 years (thought the contract has only been in my own name for 2 months so far). I ended up selling my current device believing I was approved for a new one.

Do better.
