SYSTEM ABOVE HUMANS
I am experiencing issues with my finances which resulted in my debit order not going off at end of February 2025. I was not aware of it, and accept it as my mistake. My services were deactivated and I was not able to do my work on 11 March 2025. I am also aware that Vodacom was within their right to do so. I tried to call on 11 March 2025 but was not getting through to Customer Care This morning I called and was assisted by making an arrangement to pay the unpaid amount on 25 March 2025. I was however informed that my services will stay blocked until the arrears payment is done. I tried to explain my situation that I am using my phone for business, my daughter use her phone while on the road. The operator only did her work and confirm this is a system issues and nobody will be able to assist. I was reasoning that somewhere within Vodacom management there must be someone who can understand my dilemma, apply the "human" touch and assist to override the system. I was then told that even if your account is R100 in arrears, the "system" will lock it, and nobody can override the system. I was further told that the issues can also not be escalated as even those who it is escalated to will not be able to assist as this is controlled by "THE SYSTEM" Now I am concerned that Vodacom lost their "human touch" and compassion for a person, and we are all just numbers in the hands of "THE SYSTEM". Can someone please contact me personally (obviously not by phone) and try to assist me. I take responsibility for my failure to pay my debit order, but feel somewhere someone other than "THE SYSTEM" can assist me in this matter. I am not ignoring it, and tried my best to be up to date, and to be punished for one failed debit order seems somewhat harsh to me as a person, but also to my business to continue, but much more the safety of my children who also uses numbers that belongs to me. I PLEASE REQUEST THAT I DO NOT JUST RECEIVE A REPLY FROM A "SYSTEM" GENERATED MACHINE. PLEASE CONTACT ME PERSONALLY
