Suspending service for their incompetence

I have a contract with Vodacom and my payments go off via debit order. About three weeks ago i received an sms about making a payment plan. Upon enquiring with them i was told by the lady that my account is in arrears. She then confirmed that the fault was with Vodacom as they did not send the payment instruction to my bank for the deduction and that she has arranged for the payment to go off on the 12 July 2016. I go to upgrade my contract on the 15 July 2016 only to be told that they cannot process my upgrade as i am in arrears. Yet again i call and the lady that assisted said that no such payment instruction was processed and that she will now arrange for the double payment to go off on the 20 July 2016. Guess what, on the 19 July 2016 (yesterday) my services has been suspended.

So how do you deal with a company that has no clue what they are doing, that does not follow up as they promise? This is not the first time they showed their utter incompetence.

Guess what, after eventually getting hold of somebody who can hear you amidst all the commotion in the background, she tells me that i will have to pay a R10 fee for reconnecting me!!! So i must pay R10 for their incompetence since they failed to send a payment instruction to my bank.

Whilst this amount is miniscule, i wonder how much of millions they make like this *******ly.

Vodacom, you surely are at the top of the worst!!!!
