Suspend account without informing client

On 28 February 2019 I phoned Vodacom to cancel a wifi rooter as the 24 month contract was expiring. The lady told me everything is in order and the contract was cancelled. 2 Hours later I tried to make a call and the automated voicerecorder informed me that my cellphone was suspended.

I phoned Vodacom's customer care services. The consultant informed me the reason my line was suspended is because there is a credit limit of R 199 on my account. She uplifted the suspension and requested that the credit limit be adjusted.

This morning, 29 February 2019, once again my account was suspended. I called Vodacom's Customer care service and spoke to a consultant. She once again uplifted the suspension.

At 12:15 I once again wanted to make a call, only to discover my account has been suspended again. I called the Customer Care service and they told me the suspension can't be uplifted if the credit limit was not adjusted. To my suprise, it was not yet assigned to someone to handle the matter.

So my problem with this whole scenario is:

1. Vodacom never informed me there was a problem with my credit limit 2. They suspended my account without notifying me. 3. They approved the change of ownership and for 8 months debited the money from my account without any problem. 4. I'm paying for my contract, but can't use anything because my account is suspended. 5. I've paid R 1048.45 per month to Vodacom, now all of a sudden there's a problem with my credit limit.

Pathetic does not cover it.
