Subscription **** sponsored by Vodacom
I’m being bombarded with SMS saying that I have successfully subscribed to mobile maestro, and something called stream. I never subscribed to these ****s. Nor did I recieve any opt in confirming a subscription. Further more I have to go onto Vodacom WASP area of their website to view and unsubscribe to something I never subscribed to in the first place. I also cancelled all future offers from WASP and still I recieve subscription confirmations. I’m disgusted that in this day and age of CPA and POPPi that these **** merchants are allowed to ***gy back on Vodacom’s billing and forcing me to pay for services I never heard of let alone subscribe to. This is totally ******* and I want to see proof of where I allegedly subscribed to their service. As far as I know a subscription is a 2 tier opt in whereby you actually have to confirm that you are happy to subscribe. I even deleted my SMS app as I do not use it and still I checked this morning to see another subscription confirmation. I can cancel but why should I have to do this and because I do not look at SMS I have been billed for several days at R7 per day…it is ******** and I hold Vodacom 100 percent responsible for not policing or monitoring these ****s. Furthermore they are profiting from these ************ transactions and they do not have the best interests of their customers by colluding with these underhanded and devious “subscription” ****s. I was caught out many years ago by such a **** and Vodacom promised that I would never be bothered by these *****sters again but now it is worse than ever. I will not be renewing my contract of over 15 years with Vodacom and will revert to a pay as you go option. Shame on you Vodacom and I feel desperately sorry for the thousands of underprivileged people that are unaware that they are loosing airtime, data and money through you knowingly allowing these 3rd party ********s to use your billing platform. You are a disgusting company

As per our telephonic discussion, our records indicate that the subscription services are cancelled. We refreshed the content service blocker on our side to prevent further activations. As discussed, we processed a credit for the charges reflecting on your January invoice. The credit will reflect on your Vodacom account within 24 – 48 hours. Kindly monitor you bill for February and let us know should any charges reflect on your invoice.
