Subject: Urgent Complaint – Incorrect Debit Review Listing on Settled Account

Subject: Urgent Complaint – Incorrect Debit Review Listing on Settled Account I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding my SIM account, which was fully paid and concluded in May 2025. received confirmation that my SIM contract was to be migrated from contract to prepaid at the end of the contract term (2 years). Despite this, I am still receiving harassment calls and SMS notifications, which are negatively affecting me and causing unnecessary distress. What is even more concerning is that I have now been placed under debit review for an account that is fully settled and has a zero outstanding balance. On my review it state that i have 12 missed payments. This action is unjustified and has severely impacted my financial reputation and credit standing, through no fault of my own. I require the following as a matter of urgency:

A clear explanation as to why I am being listed for debit review on a settled account. Immediate removal of any negative listings associated with this account from all credit bureaus. An urgent cessation of all harassment calls and messages relating to this matter.

This situation has caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my life. I expect this matter to be treated with the seriousness it warrants and resolved without further delay.

Good day,
I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction and outrage regarding the ongoing handling of my account.
I have just received a call from a VVM consultant by the name of Khatu. What I find completely unacceptable is that, despite my account being fully settled, debit collectors are still being sent after me for money that I do not owe.
I categorically dispute these claims. I do not owe your company a single cent. Instead, you owe me my reputation, which has been damaged by your continued negligence and harassment.
To make matters worse, I have been given inconsistent and conflicting amounts—first being told I owe R500, and then suddenly R700+. This raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and accuracy of your billing processes. This conduct borders on ********* and deceptive practices.
If your intention was to retain my business, you should have approached me transparently and offered a contract renewal, not attempt to extract money through threats, debt collectors, and misinformation.
Furthermore, it is wholly unacceptable for your VVM consultant to instruct me to visit a branch to resolve an issue that your company created, while blaming unrelated customers who allegedly do not pay their bills. This is not my responsibility, and I refuse to be inconvenienced further by your internal failures.
I demand clear answers immediately:
  • Why am I being pursued for a debt that does not exist?
  • Why are inconsistent amounts being quoted?
  • Why has this matter still not been resolved despite prior engagements?
This matter has gone on for far too long and has caused unnecessary stress and reputational damage. I expect urgent corrective action, written confirmation that my account reflects no outstanding balance, and an immediate stop to all collection attempts.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the manner in which Vodacom has handled my complaint. I logged a formal dispute some time ago and was repeatedly assured that the matter would be resolved and that my name would be cleared with the credit bureaus. To date, nothing has been done, despite these promises.
My situation has worsened rather than improved. My access to the Vodacom call centre has been blocked, making it extremely difficult to follow up on a matter that Vodacom itself has failed to resolve. I have previously dealt with a representative by the name of Zola Stride, who has since stopped responding and is actively avoiding my attempts to make contact.
Last week, I was instructed to sign a ***** dispute form, as Vodacom alleges that another number is linked to my details. EC-291P-2K3YOW my ***** case number : DOLOLO feedback. Despite this, I was later issued with a settlement letter confirming that my credit record would be cleared. This, once again, has not happened. as long as my credit score remains bad. THANKS TO VODACOM
What is particularly unacceptable is that, while this matter remains under formal dispute, Vodacom’s debt collectors — including Ellauise — continue to contact me and demand payment. This has caused significant distress and inconvenience, especially given that I have comp**** with every request made by Vodacom.
I expect this matter to be resolved urgently. I require written confirmation that my name will be cleared with the relevant credit bureaus and that all collection activity will cease immediately until the dispute is fully and finally resolved. The lack of accountability and failure to follow through on assurances is both disappointing and unacceptable.

It is clear that someone is not doing their job. Each time I am issued with a ticket number, I am led to believe that my issue will finally be resolved, only to receive a notification seconds later confirming that the ticket has been closed without any resolution. This repeated behaviour is unacceptable and demonstrates that customers are not being taken seriously.
For reference, the following tickets were closed before being resolved:
  • EC-291J-21FCDV
  • EC-291P-2K3YOW
  • ***
  • ***
Despite these tickets being logged, no meaningful feedback or resolution has been provided.
My primary concern remains that my credit score has been severely damaged due to Vodacom’s failure to properly manage and resolve this matter. It is deeply frustrating how easily my name could be tarnished, yet how difficult it now seems for Vodacom to take responsibility and correct the damage caused.
I am further aggrieved by the fact that I can provide proof that I entered into a two‑year contract only, and that I followed the correct and formal procedures to cancel the contract. I comp**** fully with all required processes, yet I am the one suffering the consequences. I should not be expected to continuously chase Vodacom to clear my name when the fault does not lie with me.
Instead of receiving assistance and resolution, I have been left with a damaged credit profile, ongoing stress, and continued inconvenience. I fail to understand how taking out a contract with Vodacom has resulted in my name being destroyed and listed with credit bureaus through no fault of my own.
Should this matter not be resolved urgently and conclusively, I will have no alternative but to pursue legal action. I am an extremely dissatisfied customer, and the manner in which this situation has been handled is disappointing, irresponsible, and unacceptable.

Kindly provide clarity on my account.
I have just received a blank email with an attached credit note sent at 01:54, with no explanation or communication whatsoever. This is unacceptable and highly confusing.
Can someone please take this matter seriously and properly review my account? I require a clear explanation as to why this credit note was issued and why no information was provided in the email.

I think it time I take this to the next level. I AM TIRED
