Subject: Request for Transparency and Accountability

Subject: Request for Transparency and Accountability

Dear Vodacom,

I hope this message finds you well. As a long-standing customer, I am writing to express my deep concerns about what appears to be a pattern of disregard for consumer rights and proper procedures in your operations.

We, as clients, feel that there is a lack of accountability and transparency in how certain matters are handled. Specifically, there seem to be cases where customers are handed over to collection agencies without sufficient proof of a valid contract or agreement. Such actions, if not substantiated, may infringe upon the rights of South African consumers.

To address these concerns, I respectfully request that you provide clarity on the regulations governing your operations in South Africa, especially regarding contract management, billing practices, and collections. Transparency on these matters is critical in rebuilding trust and ensuring fair treatment of your clients.

Should Vodacom fail to provide the requested information or rectify these issues, I believe it may be necessary for the public to collectively seek legal recourse to protect their rights. As one of the leading telecommunications providers globally, Vodacom has a responsibility to set an example of ethical and customer-focused practices.

I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to these concerns.

Kind regards, Henry
