Stupidity, thievary, or unwillingness to learn?
Well, Vodacom is at it again. They once again reduced my blanaces to zero for no particular reason, and forced me to buy a 2GB Vodacom data bundle on my banking app as a result. But, once again they did not deliver my bundle. This time they tell me to go to my bank so that the bank can allocate a Vodacom data bundle to me. Now, I have been through this with Vodacom enough times now - but one more time: the bank cannot refund me money that has already been paid to Vodacom. The bank does not magically allocate data bundles - that’s Vodacom’s job. The bank simply makes it easy for me to pay Vodacom so that they might give me what I pay for. I sent them proof of payment to the email address they provided last time this happened. They told me to go to the bank. So once again, the proof that I have paid for a service that they have not delivered is not enough. I have to instead drag them again until they might deign to provide me with a service. This is unacceptable. I am not the only person this happens to. Stop your common thievary with this cookie-cutter “go to your bank” reply that is designed to discourage customers from fighting to get their data.
