Stupid rule and not trusting your own safety regulations, it's all a joke

Only three people are allowed in the store due to covid regulations, no problem there, waited my turn, on entering the store i am sprayed at the door with sanitizer. There a phones on display in the middle of the shop, i walked closer to inspect the phones and so see which one i like, to help me make my decision. Suddenly i am forbid to touch any phone, when asked why, they said safety reasons. My question, why keep it on display if no one is allowed to come near ot touch the phones, and second, why was i sanitized at the door then????
