Stuck in a perpetual loop....

Dear Vodacom. I went into a Vodacom store on Sunday for a simple sim swap (due to phone being ******) today is Thursday and still no luck. I have been back to the shop, more than once... yet the only thing they are able to do is email the sim swap error to your 'technical' department... and I am told to wait 24 hours. If I call the call centre (which the shop asked me to do on Tuesday), guess what... all the agent can do is escalate it to technical. Oh, yes... and what 24 hours. I call back, they initiate a sim swap, error, escalate, wait 24 hours, etc etc etc.

Why do you not have any mechanism in your large company to prevent such a ridiculous waste of everybody's time. I have spoken to call centre team leaders, shop managers... and all say the same kind of thing, basically what we are doing to fix your problem is the only option we have available. Surely you can put a mechanism in place for your support staff, to escalate to a higher power in special circumstances.

I'm summary: TECHNICAL ARE NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, WE ARE GOING IN CIRCLES.

I bank with my cellphone, how do I make payments without a working simcard?

Although I doubt this post will help resolve my issue...I live in hope that theperson from Vodacom that reads this passes it on to a department that can fix the error om your system.

Sincerely Martin

cell number in question ********** 041
