Struggling to port back to Vodacom from Cell C

Good day

I hope someone can assist me this time…

What is the progress on the porting in of my number to the Vodacom network, I am really getting sick and tired of the level of service I have gotten thus far, and rest assured if this does not get sorted today I will post my problem on “HELLO PETER.COM” as you have had ample chance in which to sort out for me… my situation explanation to follow

Last year around June 2016 I ported my numbers 072 ********** (Main) and 076 ********** (Alt) to Cell C, we did buy outs on both numbers to be able to do this, I told Cell C it will be only on a trial basis as I cannot afford to have bad signal in Polokwane and I have heard stories in the past, Therefor we ported to them but I did not take their new phones as it would hinder the cancellation process, they did agree to this.

After about a month I decided that I wasn’t happy with the signal strength of the network and wanted to port back, I was then advised that I could only port back after waiting 3 months as this is some sort of rule from your governing body. I went to several Vodacom shops for help to be able to port back to Vodacom but could not succeed, even after going to the Vodacom regional office in Biccard str Polokwane and refusing to leave until they helped me.

They then referred me to Jakes cellular who is one of your trade partners, and Fadila has been very helpful but we still are not succeeding and nobody is helping…I really have never had issues with Vodacom but that is with running service, now I am looking to take out a new RED VIP contract the (072 ********** ) as well as a top up Package on (076 ********** ) and its like you guys don’t need the business… I have been struggling for around 8 months now just to get my numbers ported back to Vodacom, I’ve been hearing all sorts of stories about old systems and new CD3 systems and number archives and all of which is quite frankly your internal issues… why should they affect me…it’s disgraceful…

Please look at what the hassle is and sort out for me or at least get back to me ASAP

Like I said, If this email is not met with favourable results and attention I will be on the Hello Peter website by tomorrow morning and I will mention all parties names…

Phillip Schoeman
