Stop False Advertising

<p>On 6/08/2017 I did an upgrade for my mom online which included a handset and sports watch. During initiation of the order there was a note that we could expect delays as the product was popular, logic would disctate that this would mean maybe a week or two. After we had finished processing the upgrade there was a notification that the product was out of stock. We also received an email confirming that the item was out of stock. About a week later on the 14th of June, my brother the holder of the account called Vodacom to find out where our order was. The response we got from the consultant from the online store was that the reason why the order had not been delivered was that the sports watch was out of stock and they did not know when they would be getting stock. </p> <p>I find this completely ridiculous and equates to false advertising, why keep a deal online when you know that you can't meet the order, and let alone when you'll be getting srock of your own advertised products? It has been almost a month now and still no sign of our order. To make matters worse, we were told that the sports watch couldnt be obtained from one of the physical stores as they are "separate companies" and the phone couldn't be delivered as the online store doesn't do part orders.</p> <p>In future now I know not to use the online store again as it promises so much but always delivers so little, this is the second time that i've had issues with the online store.</p>
