****** data
I have been with Vodacom for 28 years. In the middle of January I went to renew my data contract . I asked for the same terms and conditions and was told nothing would change. The bundle includes a carry over of 30 gb which always expires the end of the following month . So how does Vodacom reward a pensioner like me for continued membership. Well firstly on the last day (31/01/22) the remove all available and left over data from about 09am. The next day I noticed that my normal carry over 30gb was also cancelled. I bad not used this in January . I went to see Vodacom and after convincing them that I could not use 50gb in two hours. Then the person helping me informed me that the " problem " wasthat I had new contract and that I lose all the previous contracts data. My question is why ? I have paid for this data and who gives them the right to just cancel my data . Yes it is a new contract but nothing is changed . I regard it as a renewal as that is the terminology used .Is Are the any benefits for the customer or is it just Vodacom that is allowed to benefit. The data that one does not use is taken every month and now what is contractually mine is also taken.Vodacom also said they will get back to me ' but hey guess what? Nothing . I am sure they hope that this pensioner will just go away .How much money at our cost does Vodacom want to make
