****** airtime and data

I have a contract with vodacom and receive 1GB every month and R500 airtime. The data usually runs out and i purchase prepaid. The data ran out on 17 May 2016 so I purchased 1GB. I received an sms @13h00 on 18 May 2016 to say that my data had been depleted. i called vodacom and was told to log a service request which i did. but of course i was made to feel like it was my fault and that i just dont know how data works or how my phone works even though the person i was talking to didnt have any answers for me. I then purchased 100MB of data to tied me ovver until the issues was resolved. literally five minutes later i received an sms to saying that the data was about to be depleted. i then called again and was told i couldnt log another service request because my issues was already on the system. i then dug up an old phone and used that phone as wi-fi hotspot to my main phone which has all my banking and contacts. i bought another 100MB because i have an assignment due on 20 May 2016 which i have to do research for. i wanted to return a call and found that i had no airtime. i had a balance of R250 this monring 18 May 2016 since i received airtime on 1 May 2016 which was now just gone.

i have tried to explain that i have not changed any patterns in my usage and dont undertsand how i could have survived on 1Gb for 17 days of the month and then have 1GB disappear in less than 12hours. same with the airtime. i am shocked and dismayed at the treatment that i have received i have been treated like my issue is not important because its okay for vodacom to have 48 hours to resolve my issue and in the meantime offer no solution because in the end i will be reimbursed. REIMBURSED like thats what i signed up for. i paid for the airtime, the data and the phone vodacom is not doing me any favours and yet its as if i am trying to get special treatment.

the complaint procedure is aweful. you are told to log a complaintt and then asked to review "how to buy airtime" before you submit the complaint. REALLY, i can't imagine what research could have revealed that scenario.

I was told i cannot log another complaint and that the first service call would be what counts. i asked to escalate the mattter to someone else who went on to tell me how to check my own usage on my phone. Is it right though, i had three separate complaints and only one will reflect on their system because i was barred from logging another call surely that is manipulating statistics on complaints. i called three times and on separate issues

i just want what i have paid for, i can't receive emails and i can't do anything on my phone.
