STILL waiting on a refund from a "contract" that I was signed upto *********ly

Below is a copy of a complaint I made on Vodacom's facebook page, I hope that it explains what I have had to deal with:

"I've had someone from Vodacom call me two times now over the last 2/3 months telling me that they are going to give me a "Free" wifi router with 10g of data. After having to deal with these 30min plus calls while at work I still haven't received zip! Why make promises to your customers and not fulfill them? Rather don't call me and waste my time. This is just another reason why I will be dropping my Vodacom contract upon expiry. It's time monopoly companies like Vodacom are given the middle finger by it's long-time abused customers"

After I made this comment I did receive the router to be fair, but it was too good to be true:

"You have to be kidding? on Friday I was debited R180 from Vodacom. After calling in and enquiring about the charge I was told that this was a once off cover charge, but-wait for it, there is also a R200 monthly contract fee that will be debited every month. And just to add insult to injury it's not a 10gb per month deal but a 5gb ? Vodacom, are you purposely running your business *********ly or are you just ***********? Either way I'm done with you bunch of ****** ?"

So whatever I ended up giving back the router because I just wanted my money back. About 2 weeks ago I called asking for my money back and guess what? The contract has still not been cancelled and I still have not received a call back even though I was promised a swift response. I honestly don't know what else to do with Voda******. I just want my money back, why is it so hard for them to do this but yet so easy for them to ***** your money? Absolute disgrace of a company!
