Still waiting for the correct date of delivery

I recently upgraded my contract to the iphone 6 16GB gold, and as I saw on the vodacom website that there was no stock I called in to enquire when they will have the phone in stock, I was then told the phone will be in stock by Friday the 4th March 2016 the week ended and still no phone so I called in again and was reassured that by the end of this week I was promised that the phone will be available, so now I'm busy getting sms's saying myorder is still on back order and I must phone in and choose another phone, firstly if I wanted another phone I would have chosen another phone, so can someone please give me something more definite, I have been a vodacom customer since 1998 and a contract customer since 2005 and this is totally unacceptable, why make promises that you cannot deliver on??? can someone give me a more definite date as to when the phone will be available. I do not want another phone my heart is set on the iphone 6 Gold and no other phone.
