Still not happy

Two days ago i posted this complaint https://www.hellopeter.com/vodacom/reviews/new-phone-not-picking-up-my-sim-card-1- **********

and recieved this response

"

Sorry to hear about your terrible experience.

However an OBF assessment takes up to 7 working days. The technicians tested and checked the device. This verified that the sim reader was damaged and therefore the device cannot be replaced under the OBF. The Warranty policy also does not cover damage to the device. If you have insurance you should be able to have the device repaired and the insurance will cover it.

Regards,
Cassandra "

On the first point i would like to refer you to your own website's terms and conditions page

http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/contract-terms-and-conditions

and more specifically the following from those terms and conditions

"All handsets must be assessed by a Vodacom Repairs Technician for any faults reported by the client before being exchanged. This assessment may take up to 5 calendardays." under the OBF section and as it stands we are currently on the 11 th calander day or 9th working day and as yet i still havnt got my phone back

Secondly never once was this phone opened and shown to me to be in working condition by the consultant at cellucity when i got the the phone and I therefore maintained that if there was any damage to the phone then it was like that out of the box

And lastly if the sim card slot was broken then I would like an explanation as to how it works fine when I turn off secure boot as this very important point is always ignored whenever i get a response from vodacom
