Still No resolution on previous

After having had no joy from the previous review (other than an automated response from Vodacom)

I sent the below mail to their "customer care" this bounced back from ********** (the adress that I was given to write to)

Dear Sir / Madam

Unfortunately your website does not list a Customer Services Department to email, so I have tried a few addresses from the net.

I upgraded my phone on your online website on the 9th Jan and ordered an S6 on a Smart M+ package. (Darren Rogers 082 ********** )

Your Website states that orders will be delivered the next day and it also indicated at the time of the order that the phone was in stock online.

I then received a mail saying that phone will be delivered between 3-5 working days. (it also states that the phone is in stock- Mail attached) I then phoned and spoke to a consultant to follow up and was told that "next day delivery no longer applies and was supposed to have been removed from the site". (This is False advertising on your website)

I asked to speak to supervisor and was cut off. Phoned back twice and spoke to two other people (one of whom claimed to be a manager and was exceptionally rude and abrupt) who also couldn’t help me and also cut me off. Phoned back again was transferred to various departments and eventually told by Zanile that this phone is not in stock and she can’t tell me when it will be delivered, so I cancelled the order.

I then phoned your customer care and was again told that you do have stock (Oscar) and that I need to verify my details to replace the order which I did. After wasting another 40 minutes and also speaking jointly to Londi from Online, I was again told that you don’t have stock. Their “eureka” solution was that I need to get in my car and drive round to stores until I find one in stock, or in other words sort it out myself. (What’s the use of having an online ordering Website in the first place) To try and get rid of me, Oscar then transferred back me to someone in online again. They did not know what I was talking about and in turn transferred me back to your customer care to start the entire process over again.

After going through the automated sequence yet again, I was put through to a supervisor (Buhle Ndlovo) from your “Solutions team in Johannesburg”. He said that he would contact me back by 16:00 today. However as expected from previous experience, this also did not happen. Tried to get hold of him at 16:30 and was told that it is not possible to contact him as the consultant who answers the phone (Ncebekazi) can’t transfer me. She also said that nothing had been logged on system. I phoned back again and was put through to the team leader Larry who told me to contact online department. He also told me to get in my car and drive around to shops to try and find stock. If that is your version of customer care from a team leader, I am not surprised at how today has gone.

I have spent almost 6 hours today listening Vodacom consultants trying to get rid of me, listening to people from Vodacom blaming other departments, being transferred and having to re-explain. Unfortunately 15 years of loyalty to a supplier does not count for anything these days, and you obviously already have enough clients to not be too concerned if you lose a few clients to your competitors.

Congratulations you have achieved your objective and I will be changing my contract to another network this weekend.

Kind Regards

Darren
