Still no phone service

My 79 year old mother app**** for a new phone at the end of July. The phone its self took 3 weeks to arrive and now we have been waiting for 9 days for the number to be ported. The manager at the store never phones me back. They keep saying it will be done today, but today never happens. My mother lives alone and needs to have a telephone that actually works!!
