Still no credits ....

Ref ********** 029 I have been trying to upgrade my contract for the past three years, but was told on at least fifty occasions that I can only upgrade in 2013 (even though we are now in 2016). Eventually I visited the Vodacom 4U shop in Cresta on 1st May 2016 and I was surprised to find that they actually knew that we are in 2016. I was given a quote for a new contract of R379 which I accepted. However, since 1st of May I have had nothing but problems from Vodacom. Firstly, I was charged R825 in the first month for my R379 contract. I was billed for items that I did not consent to, such as R160 insurance, a R33 sms contract, sim insurance, etc. etc. Trying to reverse these charges have proved impossible. Also, I changed my banking details and informed Vodacom on 7th May 2016. (after trying for a week to get an email address that actually works, 99% of Vodacom email addresses do not work, mail is returned undelivered). I received notification that my request for the banking details to be changed will be actioned. However, this never happened and when Vodacom tried to request payment from the closed bank account, it was refused (of course, that is obvious). I was then charged R100 because the payment was returned by the bank. I have been a Vodacom client for FIFTEEN years, I have NEVER defaulted on payments, and the one time payment is returned because Vodacom staff did not do what they were supposed to do, I was charged R100. Further Vodacom had the audacity to cut off my service. And when they reconnected me, they had the further audacity to charge me R10. No wonder my R379 monthly fee quickly balloons to R825. Obviously Vodacom and its staff are nothing but *******. They think because they are bigger than the small man, they can do what they want, they can ***** from your bank account, they can charge you for things you did not consent to, and when you don’t pay, they simply disconnect your service. So far I have discovered only one Vodacom email address that actually works (where mail is not returned undelivered). That is to a person called Neo Mosikare. However, he is the person who did not change my banking details when I requested it to be done (he even phoned me to say he received my email and will do the necessary to have my banking details changed). Since I wrote to him to tell him to have the R100 and R10 reversed seeing that he is the person who did not do what he promised to do, he has just stopped answering emails. I refuse to phone Vodacom about anything, they are a lot of ***** and I do not believe a word any of their staff says. That is why I want to communicate by email! But obviously Vodacom teaches their staff to lie to customers and they prefer not communicating by email because then clients have something on paper to prove their case.
