Still battling to get the laptop deal we wanted since Saturday. Onine Upgrade Nightmare
So after my initial complaint / review about the problem we faced to try and get a package offered by Vodacom, the Hellopeter team from Vodacom were very helpful trying to assist and resolve the matter for us.
They spoke to my husband and kept open communication to resolve the problem we facing...or so we hoped.
After work yesterday evening my husband informed me of what Vodacom said and we logged into my Vodacom profile to do an upgrade for the required package.
We selected the number we wanted to upgrade which is on a current data plan due for upgrade ***.
We clicked the upgrade tab shown by the number, found the laptop deal we wanted and clicked on it.
It directed us to the order page and auto-filled numerous parts of the forms including our address.
The it came to the part of selecting a prepaid number or select a new one.
We could not enter the *** number we have as it cannot receive OTPs as the system stipulated it required. So we selected for a new number as it seemed to be the only available option.
Did the submission and confirmation for the order and vodacom sent us an email with a quote order number of VODACOMONLIN-***
After this another email was sent that the CAD Online Sales now requires me to forward my ID document and Payslip to them via email to process the order.
This was even done, yet nothing more happened.
This online upgrade process keeps changing and we do our best to follow what is asked, but when will my upgrade be processed?
I am at work and this laptop deal is being done as ts required for an important matter.
Please can the Vodacom team at Hellopeter follow up with the online sales people about this upgrade item and if you need update my husband so that this can be finalized.
This is of high importance for us.
Thank you
As we know the terms and conditions of online orders stipulate that if the ordrr is not done my 12 o'clock then the order will not be delivered the next day.
Your email from the CAD Online Sales stipulated that the process time is no longer than 24hrs.
That 24hr period ended last night at 6 o'clock and since my follow up here on hellopeter no steps were taken to resolve this matter.
I did the steps asked and want my selected laptop upgrade package on my *** contract data number processed today.
I want my delivery for the said laptop package to be done tomorrow.
Should this be ignored and mothing done you can expect me not to upgrade the other two contracts that can be upgraded now.
I will cancel all my upgrade packages with you should you not resolve this current upgrade.
If you do not care to provide support and services to resolve this matter you can also forget to receive my husbands IT firms required 1000 laptop contracts he requires to open for his business to supply his developers and staff with.
I need to go back to work now and should anyone care to respond feel free to contact my husband on *** as you have dealt with him in the beginning of the week on same matter.
Its up to you now, either support and assist your customers or loose our own business and that of future customers.
