STILL bad service

I received a phone call from a company selling Vodacom data contracts.

She offered me a 5 GB 24 month contract for R199 pm which includes a WIFI device. Cheaper than my current contract, so I accepted it. Three days later I received my device and sim card via courier.

The next day the device was active and I used the prorata data.

On 1 October I tried to use it but no connection.

On the 7th, still no connection, I phoned Vodacom and was told the sim card was deleted from the system last year already and they cannot help me. I must go to a Vodashop or e-mail customer care.

I wrote a e-mail to customer care and the next day got a call from them but, as I also have a job to do, I was in a meeting and could not take the call.

Vodacom did not try again to phone me but e-mailed me that it is put into the system, because I was unavaileble, and they will get back to me.

The accounts department says there are no issues on their side and will continue to bill me!!

I have not heard from Vodacom again, even after more e-mails sent to customer care.

Hi
After being tired of waiting for someone to contact me, I went to a few Vodacom stores for help.
The Vadocom shop in The Mall of Rosebank has two "Experts" personnel but none of them could help.
The Vodacom shop in Cradlestone Mall could also not help and sent me to the Vodacom 4U shop in Cradlestone Mall.
There the most friendly women assisted me and she put me in contact, with the shops phone, with someone in the "solutions" department.
After about 45min of holding, while that person tried to get the simm working, I had to go home and the lady said she will phone me when I am at home to help setting something on the router from my laptop.
She never phoned.
So now I would like Vodacom to take the sim and router and contract and do whatever you want to with it as long as you remove it from my account!!!
It has been 19days without service and Vodacom has not fulfilled their part of the contract.
Cancell it and send someone to pickup the device and sim.
I will get service from MTN or Cell C.

After many e-mails and phone calls, it is fixed.
Thanks to Sipho at the "solutions" department.
