*****STERS: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VODACOM TO MY WORST ENEMY

On 03/10/2023 an account was *****ulently opened in my name by an individual who had cloned my ID. On 07/10/2023 I visited the store where the account was opened, received copies of the application for credit, copy of the ID of the individual who posed as me and the contract. THE CONTRACT APPLICATION WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC APPLICATION FOR CREDIT I HAVE EVER SEEN AND THE ALARM BELLS THAT THIS WAS *****ULENT WERE PLAIN TO SEE. As requested, I immediately went to SAPS and signed an affidavit confirming that this was a *****uelnt credit application as requested by the store. On returning to the store, they lodged the complaint with the ***** department whilst I was present in the store on 07/10/2023. Since then Vodacom has attempted to take amounts off my bank account which have resulted in legitimate debit orders bouncing. I have an UNAUTHORISED credit enquiry from Vodacom which is affecting my credit score. I have subsequently mailed my case to the ***** department again on 08/10/2023, 01/11/2023, 13/11/2023 and 23/11/2023 and NOTHING!!!!! I have now tried to contact them telephonically and NOTHING, no one answers the call.

Reviewer Update
So, 1 request down and 2 to go:
1) Account is closed and Vodacom will attempt to take no more funds from my bank account.
2) My credit record is cleared of Vodacom's credit enquiry.
