Steer Clear from ************ Vodacom!

Vodacom top up offers are nothing but a genius **** to rob consumers while Vodacom makes millions. Often, top up data and airtime is not allocated accordingly.. Offers advertised, or directly marketed are misleading and false. After.having purchased 1gig of data which I did not receive, I was.told that it was a whatsapp bundle. However the offer which I received by text was simply for 1 gig.of data without any stipulations whatsoever! There were absolutely no t&c's or stipulations relating to being a whatsapp bundle, or night owl,.or social ticket... fortunately I still have the text messages. I retained the text as proof after.observing that I did not receive what was sold to me. Now Vodacom refuses to allocate the data (after putting me through grief for over a month relating to same) and they insist that they are not willing to refund my money either, but will instead give me airtime to the value of the purchase. I refused the airtime, since I don't need it and I was advised by Jamie on behalf of her senior Loyiso, Ref no: 2-CSM6DKT9H that they would not do anything other than refund me with airtime. This is forced sales! Why beguile consumers in the first place? How dare they try to force me to purchase something that I don't want!? This is not the first time either. Don't consumers have a choice!? Shouldn't consumers be allowed to purchase according to their needs and not be forced into anything!? This is a breach of the Consumer Protection Act. I was instructed to email my grievances to *** with a warning that I still won't be refunded. Tired of having Vodacom thieve from me. Just want to end my contract and cease to do business with this conniving service provider..Staff are just as sly in the manner in which they choose to omitt information as they did with a migration imposed on me days ago, during which they ****** me of my allocated data without advising me accordingly. They don't get back to consumers when they undertake to do so either. If you don't chase after them indefinitely, your issue gets pushed under the rug.
