*****ing from their customers - REPORTING THEM FOR ***** NOW
That is the last review I write about the ******* company Vodacom. A bunch of ******* and actually I need to report them for *****. I have cancelled my contract two month ago and I have phoned this useless people three times already. Every single time I get told over the phone that my contract is cancelled now but get billed again. My contract period was already over at the beginning of July. I have stopped my debit order with FNB now. I am tired of Vodacom *****ing my money and is employing all this useless people who are not capable of finally cancelling my contract.

28 Aug 2020, 10:23Good day,
I have not received feedback until now and have escalated my query to the constumer protection act. Please see below:
I would like to hand in a formal complaint about Vodacom and hope that anyone from consumer protection can help with my problem.
After being a customer of Vodacom for 5 years, I have cancelled my contract on the 02nd of July 2020 as my contract was finished. I did not want to renew as I was not happy with their services for a while. At the beginning of August I got charged as usual and I made contact with Vodacom again and wrote a review on the Hello Peter plattform on the 03rd of August 2020. After the review I have received a phone call from Vodacom and the gentleman I spoke to advised that the cancellation at the beginning of July was not done correctly by the previous consultant. Which is not my fault at all. Anyway he advised that my contract is cancelled now and there will be no more deductions to come. On Monday the 25th of August 2020 I received another SMS that ZAR 246,99 are due again on the 01st of September 2020. Since then I am trying to sort the issue out with Vodacom. I keep on calling as I want to make sure my contract is cancelled correctly. All I experience though is excuse after excuse. They keep on escalating the matter and nobody can give me a clear answer whether my contract is cancelled now or not. I have blocked Vodacom with my bank FNB now so that they can not do any more unauthorised deductions. I have just phoned again and wanted to speak to a manager but they seem to be non existent in this company. Whenever I call there is no manager available and is always in a meeting. I receive promises that someone will phone, however nobody every phones me back.
The service is beyond disgusting. I have just spoken to another consultant now who advised that my contract was cancelled on the 02nd of July 2020 already however the person who processed the cancellation did not do it correctly and now I have to pay for it? I can no longer accept this and I want to make that public and that something will get done about it. They are ******** and ripping people off by not cancelling customers contracts and keep on charging them. The negative reviews are piling up on Hello Peter about the same problem other customers experience as well. I want an urgent solution. I have blocked them from deducting from my FNB bank account now but other customers should be warned from a dirty establishment like that as well. Thank you
