*****ing from loyal customers

A bunch of ******* getting away with it!!!!!! I received my invoice in January after upgrading in December. I upgraded to a R999 per month red contract. My bill was for R3482.16. Shock was an understatement. I called the useless customer care and was told that I had 18 Vlive subscriptions at R10 per day on my account. What the f@#&k is Vlive? She told me it was games! I have never heard of Vlive and most certainly have never subscribed to ANY games or any other service on my contract. She proceeded to tell me that I may have touched a pop up add by mistake while on the internet which would automatically subscribe me. What sort of bullsh@t is that????????? It is blatant theft!!!! Since then, I was very much consiously aware of my movements on the internet and what sites I visit on my phone, but still, my February bill was R 2 565. And currently for March it is sitting at over R 1 500, without me even going on the internet on my phone. So how do you explain this one?????? If they do that to 50 people a month, it is an extra revenue of R100 900.00 per month. Not only is this shocking to do to people that are already financially strained, but it is highly *********!! Shame on you!! Is that how you pay for your fancy buildings? According to the new POPI Act that is being implemented. This behaviour is *******. It is not a case of being automatically subscribed and having to opt out. It will be a case of having to legitimately opt IN. I will be taking this to the Consumer council and will not pay Vodacom until it has been removed from my account and sorted out. There are many other options out there these days, Vodacom, you do hold us at random anymore!!!! Stop *****ing from your loyal customers. Companies much bigger than you have fallen. You are not untouchable. And please don't send me some bullsh@t automated response saying that a consultant will contact me because it is just another lie to make consumers think you deal with all complaints.
