*****ing data

I have been buying 5 GB data. It seems to only last 10 days. Previously I bought a one year promotion of 4GB that lasted a month.

The vodacom shop people commented that my data of 5 GB should go further than 10 days so the last bundle I was real careful with. On the eve of the 9th day I checked the remaining data>>>it was 3.8 GB. The following day without using any at all it was 00.0GB. There is really something wrong here. I have been getting 5GB bundles since end of OCT 2016 and just about every 10 days had to get a new bundle.

All updaters on computer are off and as sson as I finishe with interent I turn everything off. No computer on at night and no modem on at night ever!

An investigation has been completed and your billing was found to be correct. As a once-off gesture of goodwill your data number was credited with 5GB. Ports of connectivity point to Apple updates;Youtube video streaming and Facebook as being the highest contributors to the volume of data used. Please visit http://ow.ly/yQri9 for tips on how to manage your data usage when using a router.
Important information regarding routers:
1. Please make sure that you have a secured connection on the router.
2. You may change the password from time to time, ie. CHANGE THE DEFAULT PASSWORD
3. Please note that we only have access to data on the primary device i.e. router, not information on devices accessing the internet via the router.
4. You may check the MAC addressed on the router.
5. You may restrict IPN's to users, meaning that the users may only access information you specify on the router. E.g. emails only, accessing websites only, etc.
6. Please make sure that you have the WPA or WPA2 security option activated on the admin box of the router.
7. You may have background data running on the devices connected via the router, which may consume data.
Kind regards
