Stay away from Vodacom if you looking for loyalty!

<p>I have been a client for 2 years (longer on prepaid). I have a R479 contract that was upped to R501 a few months into the contract, and I pay the account every month. On top of that, I have bought thousands of rands worth of airtime to load on the account.</p> <p>On saturday I went to a shop to upgrade my contract only to find out that because of something showing on my credit report Vodacom will not renew my contract, despite the fact that we have had a good business relationship up to now.</p> <p>I am actually not sure what the issue is with my credit report as I have just finished paying off a car and I am not outstanding in any payments.</p> <p>Nevertheless, Vodacom now want me to pay for a device IN FULL plus pay the normal full contract amount every month. Meaning that other people would get a device free with their contract, I have to pay for mine outright. Furthermore, they refuse to change my profile rating at Vodacom.</p> <p>I lodged a service request on Saturday morning at 10am and was told I would hear from them by the end of the day.... Today is wednesday and nobody has bothered phoning me back.</p> <p>So much for evaluating your client, valuing his business and renewing a contract based on a good relationship.</p> <p>I just dont know what to do now. Do I go to another cellphone company?</p>
