Stay away from Vodacom contracts. You will not get rid of them afterwards.

I have been trying for 3 months now to try an get my paid up contract cancelled. For two months they could not get it right. I went into the Cradle Stone Voda shop where one of their consultants actually called into their cancellation office and spoke to a consultant there whi did not know their workins at all. Instead of moving the contract which was already cancelled and needed to be moved to pay as you go , he reinstated the contract. We were watching on the monitor at the cradle stone mall what he was. The consultant stopped him and told him that is not what she asked. He then said we will have to wait another month to cancel the newly instaded contract. She told him that is not acceptable and he must changes it immediately. He then did so and also moved it to a pay as you go and gave a reference and I received an email confirming it. ( REF ***) And The person's Name was Adesh. After we received the confirmation email we left the call and excepted it was done and my phone would be on a pay as you go the next day. Today I called as my phone still not as pay as you go. The consultant checked but Adesh have gone and reinstated the contract after we received the email and logged out of the system. I now have to go through the whole process again. I might just add that I have been a Vodacom client for more than 30 years.
